key terms:
Ohm's Law: Voltage = Current x Resistance
Resistors: poor conductors that reduce voltage
Circuit: a complete loop of conductive material with a power source
Voltage: power that electricity gives off, push/pull of electricity, pressure or potential energy difference
This project was divided into two sections, electricity and then programming. We learned basic electricity skills by going through large packets and testing different circuits. By the end of these detailed packets we had a much better idea of how electricity works. In the second part of this unit learned about basics programming using a laptop and breadboards. Eventually we made a robot art show on the breadboards. Our buzzer played the beat of the Star Wars theme song, while our lights were flashing on and off with the melody of the song.

reflection:
This project was extremely interesting. Coming into this unit I had almost no knowledge on electricity and knew absolutely nothing about programming. The beginning of this unit was quite difficult, but with lots of practice and a partner to guide me along the way, I am leaving this unit with loads of information and practice with electricity and programming.
