Project History:
In this project we were assigned to think of and create a model of a possible solution to a worldwide. Annabel, Madi, Parker, and I, decided to create a device that captures rainfall off of your roof, that then gets filtered and put into a massive water tank. It can later be pumped back into your house if you desperately need water. We also designed a energy system that is powered by a solar windmill, the energy created by the windmill can be stored in large batteries, that way you will be able to have power, even if your usual power gets blacked out.
our model:
House: We used a cardboard box
Gutter: We used half of a cardboard tube
Water Tank: We used a water bottle
Solar Windmill: We used a small solar windmill
Batteries: We used batteries

Reflection:
I really enjoyed this project! I truly believe that we thought of a great design. Our idea came to us quite easily because we are currently in a drought here in Marin. This project was different from all the others , in the fact that each group could think of any problem in the world, that is why I liked this so much, because we got to use our imaginations.
